In addition to last month’s fiery outburst ‘The Death Of You & I’, celebratory singer-songwriter Isaac Gracie has another versatile offering for his next EP, Silhouettes Of You, due out on September 29th. The title-track is slow building, slow burning bonfire of spaghetti western strings, heartfelt lyrics and the intensity of Gracie’s voice. As with the song’s precursor, ‘Silhouettes Of You’ has a hold in dichotomy, with glorious soundtrack-style verses and later on a rockeir chorus that unleashes the artist’s full emotion. The accompanying press shot was taken at London’s Eastcote Studios - where much of the EP was recorded - and shows Isaac at the piano, wearing a Cyberman (classic nemesis in the long-running BBC series Doctor Who) mask. It’ll be interested to see whether the new disguise will make an appearance at his first headline tour in the UK, or perhaps at one of his European shows supporting Angus & Julia Stone throughout October. - HT
